People cheersing at a restaurant with red wine

Tips

  • Be sure to check out our monthly video content to learn more about selections and get  tips for tasting at home.

  • If your bottles are being shipped, let them rest in a cool, dark place for 5-7 days before opening them to get the best aromas and flavors. This gives the wines time to settle.

  • Serving temperature for white wines is approximately 42°- 50° and 55°- 60° F for reds.

  • Visit a Respect restaurant to take advantage of your member benefits.

  • Make dinner, grab takeout, invite some friends over, there’s no wrong way to do it. Just sip, savor, and enjoy!

Member FAQs

  • The uber talented team at Respect Hospitality works closely with Verve Wine to curate expressive, unique, and delicious wines from Italy, France, and the USA. The approach is to work with wines that could be found at any of the Respect Hospitality restaurants – Forgione, Peasant, or Trattoria One Fifth.

  • The monthly club wines are curated and chosen by the Respect Hospitality sommeliers. The types of wines offered each month will change depending on what we feel deserves to be highlighted in the featured region.

  • If you feel there is an issue with the way your wine arrived, please email us at respectclub@vervewine.com we’ll come to a solution together. Note that we strongly believe that proper storage is crucial to maintain the quality of wine so if you don’t plan to drink your wines right away, we highly recommend keeping your wines in a safe, cool, dark place.

  • We fully understand the concern of shipping wine in warm weather. We will take every precaution to ensure that your wine arrives to you quickly, safely, and in prime condition. We also understand that waiting for the warm weather to go away to finally receive your wine is no fun at all. So we ultimately will leave this choice up to you. If you would like, we are happy to hold your shipments for you any time that you’d like. Simply email us at respectclub@vervewine.com to let us know that you’d like to put your shipments on hold and we’ll work it out together.

  • Due to laws restricting the shipments of alcohol, we currently can not ship wine to Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Hampshire, Oklahoma and Utah.
